Wild pollinators are crucial for our food security and the resilience of ecosystem. Yet, they are under threat and there is strong evidence of dramatic decline of their populations.

To survive and thrive, wild pollinators, including wild bees, hoverflies, butterflies and moths, need habitats which provide them with food sources, nesting places and shelter in different stages of their life cycles.
The dashboard shows the conservation status of a selection of different habitat types from Annex I of the Habitats Directive, which are most important for pollinators.
