Technical report: Quantification of landscape features in agricultural areas using Copernicus products: An overview of recent developments
Landscape features such as tree lines and hedgerows are fragments of natural or semi-natural vegetation in agricultural landscapes. EU policies including the Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 and the Common Agricultural Policy aim to increase the share of landscape features in agricultural areas. This ETC report explains the indicator development on landscape features in agricultural areas based on Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) data.

The Natura 2000 Award provides a unique opportunity to showcase nature conservation success stories. The Award celebrates excellence in the management of Natura 2000 sites in five categories: Conservation on Land, Marine Conservation, Working Together for Nature, Cross-Border Cooperation and Communication. Any public or private organisations involved in managing Natura 2000 sites across the European Union can apply – from national authorities and environmental NGOs, to businesses, farmers and landowners, education institutions to media organisations, even individuals.
